Leading construction and engineering firm that specializes in large-scale infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a focus in Geotechnical engineering to join our team.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing geotechnical aspects of our projects from conception to completion. This includes conducting site investigations, analyzing data, designing foundations, and providing technical support to our construction teams. You will also work closely with our clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct site investigations, including soil and rock sampling, to determine the subsurface conditions and potential risks for construction projects

- Analyze data and prepare reports, including geotechnical recommendations and design parameters, for use in project planning and design

- Design foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures using appropriate software and engineering principles

- Provide technical support to construction teams during the construction phase, including reviewing and approving submittals and responding to requests for information

- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met and delivered on time and within budget

- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential issues and proposing solutions to keep the project on track

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geotechnical engineering, and apply them to improve project delivery and quality

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical engineering

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in the construction industry

- Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices, including soil mechanics, foundation design, and slope stability analysis

- Proficiency in geotechnical design software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and gINT
